What is the main goal of pain management?

The main goal of pain management is to keep you in the medical system of “management”. We used to get rid of it, but since the nineties, we now manage it. Then they gave you opioids. 130 billion pills in a ten year period, think they were interested in stopping pain, or hooking you? If you can’t or don’t figure out how to take care of your pain, then you are hooked into their idea of pain relief. Relief is what we used to do. As long as you’re in pain, you can’t think straight, nothing that maybe you should be thinking about takes second seat. It doesn’t get done, it gets postponed or never gets even started. You are trapped. If it’s bad enough, you’ll move on to bigger and more dangerous drugs. Drugs, any questions?
